“NEW QUALIFICATIONS – YOUR OPPORTUNITY” – FEDS.07.09-IP.02-0072/24
The project “New Qualifications – Your Opportunity” FEDS.07.09-IP.02-0072/24, implemented under the European Funds for Lower Silesia 2021–2027 program, is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
The project is implemented under Priority: FEDS.07.00 – European Funds for the Labour Market and Social Inclusion in Lower Silesia, Measure: FEDS.07.09 – Activation of people in the labour market.
MAIN GOAL OF THE PROJECT:
The goal of the project is to improve the labour market situation by aligning qualifications with the needs of the changing local labour market for at least 90% of a group of 180 individuals (110 women / 70 men), including a minimum of 18 persons with disabilities, individuals leaving agriculture, those employed under short-term or civil law contracts, and the working poor – through individualized and comprehensive support, leading to qualification acquisition by at least 165 people (99 women / 66 men).
TARGET GROUP:
The project is addressed exclusively to 180 adult individuals (110 women, 70 men), including 18 persons with disabilities, who: are leaving the agricultural sector, are employed under short-term or civil law contracts, are working poor, reside (as defined by the Civil Code) in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, including:
Priority will be given to: women, persons with disabilities, individuals with low qualifications or limited work experience.
- at least 72 individuals (44 women / 28 men) living in transport-excluded municipalities and/or who have left penitentiary units within the last 12 months, and/or who have low qualifications.
- at least 126 individuals (76 women / 50 men) who are residents of medium-sized towns losing socio-economic functions and/or areas at risk of permanent marginalization.
Priority will be given to: women, persons with disabilities, individuals with low qualifications or limited work experience.
PROJECT LOCATION:
The project is implemented in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- Career counseling along with development of an Individual Action Plan (IPD) (4 hours per participant),
- Vocational training (avg. 112 hours per participant),
- Job placement support (6 hours per participant),
- 3-month vocational internships (36 participants).
THE PROJECT PROVIDES:
- Free participation in the project and in all forms of support offered,
- Free training materials,
- Certificate or confirmation of participation in specific support activities,
- Certificate confirming acquired skills or qualifications,
- Training/internship scholarship (in accordance with § 8 of the Regulations),
- Reimbursement of travel costs for attending training/internship (in accordance with § 9 of the Regulations).
